School students look forward to fun and educational play in their sandpit

Students at Overnewton Anglican Community College are looking forward to some fun new additions to their sandpit.

Thanks to a $1500 Telstra Kids Fund grant, the school will be investing in developmental play equipment for the school’s sandpit.

School spokesperson Nancy McCracken said that the new play equipment, which will include dump trucks, earthmovers, scoops and sandmovers, will be used to help the students learn and exercise their imagination.
